My journey began in the realm of computer engineering.
I was captivated by the logical structure of code and the power it had to solve problems. The elegance of systems working seamlessly together and the thrill of creating something from scratch fascinated me.
But as time went on, I felt a growing disconnect.
Forge - Debugging My Path
After working for 1.5 years as a front-end developer, I realized I wanted to do more than just build interfaces I wanted to shape experiences. My work felt constrained, like I was solving only half the problem.
The spark ignited when I collaborated with designers on a project. I was mesmerized by their ability to combine creativity and strategy to craft meaningful solutions. I realized that design wasn’t just about how things looked it was about how they worked and how they felt.
I knew I had to pivot.
Flight - Designing Beyond the Screen
I finally found the missing piece a field that combines logic, creativity, and empathy. My background in engineering gave me an edge in understanding technical constraints and possibilities, while my passion for design allowed me to craft solutions that resonate with users.
Design and engineering both thrive on systems, patterns, and iteration. I approach design with the precision of a developer and the empathy of a problem-solver, always striving to create experiences that are both functional and delightful.
